Beginning and ending in Delhi, this carefully designed tour combines India’s celebrated Golden Triangle with the spiritual atmosphere of Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura, Kurukshetra and Amritsar.
Explore the contrasts of Old and New Delhi before travelling to Jaipur, the colourful Pink City of Rajasthan. Visit the magnificent Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and other architectural treasures. Continue through the former Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri to Agra, where you will experience the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal and the impressive Agra Fort.
The journey then takes you deeper into India’s spiritual heritage. Visit Mathura, revered as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and witness the sacred Ganga Aarti on the banks of the River Ganges in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Discover famous spiritual sites such as Mansa Devi Temple, Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula and Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
Continue to the beautifully planned city of Chandigarh before travelling to Amritsar. Here, you will visit the magnificent Golden Temple, the historic Jallianwala Bagh memorial and the Wagah-Attari border ceremony. On the return journey to Delhi, visit Kurukshetra, one of India’s most important pilgrimage destinations and a sacred location associated with the Mahabharata.

Day 1Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to Delhi. Meet your representative at the airport and transfer by private vehicle to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2Delhi City Tour
Travel: Full-day guided sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, Akshardham Temple, India Gate and Lotus Temple, subject to opening hours. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3Delhi to Jaipur
Travel: Private road transfer | Approx. 265 km / 5 hours
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City. On arrival, check in at the hotel. If time permits, enjoy an evening orientation tour or an optional cinema visit. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 4Jaipur City Tour
Travel: Full-day guided sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Amber Fort. Ascend to the fort by jeep or elephant ride, subject to availability, local regulations and final booking confirmation. Explore highlights of the palace complex, including Jai Mandir (Hall of Victory) and the Kali Temple. Continue to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Albert Hall Museum, subject to opening hours. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 5Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Travel: Private road transfer | Approx. 260 km / 5 hours
After breakfast, drive to Agra with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the historic former Mughal capital. Continue to Agra and check in at the hotel. Later, visit the world-famous Taj Mahal and impressive Agra Fort, subject to opening hours. Overnight in Agra.
Day 6Agra - Mathura - Delhi
Travel: Private road transfer | Approx. 225 km / 5 hours
After breakfast, depart for Delhi. En route, visit Mathura, revered as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Continue to Delhi, check in at the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 7Delhi to Haridwar

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar. In the evening, visit Mansa Devi Temple, explore the ashram area and attend the sacred Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, subject to local conditions. Overnight in Haridwar.
Day 8Haridwar - Rishikesh - Haridwar
Travel: Full-day private excursion
After breakfast, travel to Rishikesh for a full-day excursion. Visit Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. In the evening, experience the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh before returning to Haridwar for your overnight stay.
Day 9Haridwar to Chandigarh
Travel: Private road transfer | Approx. 250 km / 5-6 hours
After breakfast, proceed to Chandigarh. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, visit the famous Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake. Enjoy some free time for shopping in the evening. Overnight in Chandigarh.
Day 10Chandigarh to Amritsar
Travel: Private road transfer | Approx. 250 km / 5 hours
After breakfast, drive to Amritsar. On arrival, check in at the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 11Amritsar City Tour

After breakfast, visit the world-famous Golden Temple and the historic Jallianwala Bagh memorial. In the evening, travel to the Wagah-Attari border to witness the ceremonial border-closing programme, subject to security regulations and operating conditions. Overnight in Amritsar.

After breakfast, drive to Delhi with an en-route visit to Kurukshetra and selected sites associated with the Mahabharata, subject to available time. Continue to Delhi, check in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 15Departure from Delhi

At the appropriate time, transfer to Delhi airport for your onward flight to Amsterdam or your next destination. International airfare is not included unless expressly confirmed in your booking. Your journey concludes with wonderful memories.
